These routes have a star system to rate their hardness and we give you the length of each stage. We recommend some training before your holiday so that you can take the absolute maximum out of it, whether it's easy or hard for you.

The chances of getting lost are very small. You will have your route book explaining the route and GPS system pointing it out to you. A post card with various points you should come across the way. If you do get lost however, ring us with the phone we provide and we will get you back on track.

It is possible to have a guided cycle Tour. However this is part of our custom range of cycle tours. You will have to e-mail us and purchase a "custom" cycling holiday solution. 

The type is a standard alluminum mountain bike type bike equiped with narrower, slick tires. You can rent a Specialized racing bike for 30€ a day if you prefer, or bring your own bike.

If you don't feel you can ride each day for an entire week you can select a tour option with a rest day. Or alternatively take a transfer to the stage finish of any stage by car.

Our holidays are available year round. The Algarve has a very amenable climate, as can been here, so although it does rain occasionally, it's likely to be wonderfull. In cases of bad weather we provide a transfer service between stage starts and finishes. Times you might want to avoid if possible are the last two weeks in August (it's very busy and can be very hot) and the whole of December (it's a bit glum).
